a few more frames from level 15 of my pattern maker app for gp2x (see previous). reduced to black & white for flexibility but generally in color. all gp2x buttons control various aspects of equations creating the patterns, e.g. frequency, color, amplitude, etc. sept 2011
a few frames from level 15 of my pattern maker app for gp2x. reduced to black & white though the app produces colors. all gp2x controls work to vary the pattern - e.g. frequency of waveforms, amplitude, etc. sept 2011.
animation of a few frames of a combination of waveforms. the full animation is much too long to be an animated gif due to the periodicity of the combination. october 2011.
Visuals created from combining several waveforms in Puredata. For smoother curves one could raise the sample rate in the audio. October 2011
Just thinking about the stuff I post on Tumblr….
The graphics and animations that I post are experiments and often used in some other form as part of an entire visual composition - generally in live performance. They aren’t complete finished works like a demo reel.
It’s something like an electronic musician who would post a single bass drum sound that he/she created. It probably won’t be used alone but as one element in a piece of music. Still.. if this bass drum sound is something that the musician created - e.g. using a resonating filter through a VCA with an appropriate envelope - I would be inclined to find it worth clicking on and hearing. But that’s me. Some people might prefer to wait and hear an entire composition.
working on some new elements to combine in various ways for live viz.
here we have some simple lines and a rotation. made with puredata. oct 2011.
similar to last experiment. audio signals modulated by LFO and combined with OR going to sig2pix object in GEM. march 2011
